Planned engineering work will take place between Manchester Victoria and Salford Crescent from 00:30, Saturday 18 July 2026 to 04:40, Monday 20 July 2026.
Some lines will be blocked.
Some services will be revised.
SATURDAY ONLY
Clitheroe/Blackburn Manchester Victoria: Trains will terminate at Bolton.
Manchester Victoria Blackburn/Clitheroe: Trains will start from Bolton.
Train services are available between Bolton and Manchester Victoria (in both directions).

SUNDAY ONLY
Blackburn Manchester Victoria (in both directions): Trains will not call at Salford Central.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Headbolt Lane/Southport/Wigan Manchester Victoria and beyond (in both directions): Trains will not call at Salford Central. Trains to Leeds are further affected by work between Stalybridge and Mirfield.

Customer Advice:

Normal journey times are extended by approximately 20 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
