Between Manchester Victoria and Moston

Planned engineering work will take place between Manchester Victoria and Moston from 01:00, Saturday 28 March 2026 to 04:30, Monday 30 March 2026.
Some services will be revised. SATURDAY
Manchester Preston and beyond: Trains will run to an amended timetable. Customers should check their service before they travel.
Manchester Oxford Road Warrington Central Liverpool Lime Street: Trains will run to an amended, reduced timetable.
Manchester Victoria Chester via Earlestown: Trains will not run. Customers should use alternative train services operated by Transport for Wales.
Leeds Manchester Victoria/Chester: Trains will terminate at Rochdale.
Chester/Manchester Victoria Leeds: Trains will start from Rochdale.
Leeds Wigan Wallgate: Trains will run between Leeds and Hebden Bridge, and between Manchester Victoria and Wigan North Western.
Wigan Wallgate Leeds: Trains will run between Wigan North Western and Manchester Victoria, and between Hebden Bridge and Leeds.
Clitheroe/Blackburn Rochdale: Trains will terminate at Manchester Victoria.
Rochdale Blackburn/Clitheroe: Trains will start from Manchester Victoria.
Blackburn Headbolt Lane: Trains will start from Manchester Victoria.
Headbolt Lane Blackburn: Trains will terminate at Manchester Victoria.
Stalybridge Southport: Trains will start from Manchester Victoria.
Southport Stalybridge: Trains will terminate at Manchester Victoria.
Buses will be provided between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale.
SUNDAY
Leeds Manchester Victoria: Trains will terminate at Rochdale.
Manchester Victoria Leeds: Trains will start from Rochdale.
Manchester Victoria Blackburn via Todmorden: Trains will start from Rochdale.
Blackburn Manchester Victoria via Todmorden: Trains will terminate at Rochdale.
Buses will be provided between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale

Station Update

Manchester Victoria Facilities: Various changes

At Manchester Victoria station, the following issues have been reported:
Various toilets at the station are out of order.
Due to refurbishment works, the toilets at Manchester Victoria will be out of use from Monday 23rd February until Tuesday 31st March.
Temporary Toilets have been provided, and can be found outside the main station entrance, towards the ramp for the AO Arena.
Accessible Toilet Facilities are not available at the station from 18:15 17/03/2026 until further notice.
