Between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport/Plumley/Chester

Planned engineering work will take place between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport/Plumley/Chester on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 23:50, Monday 10 August 2026 to 05:05, Friday 14 August 2026.
Some lines will be blocked.
Some services will be revised.
Monday 10th to Friday 14th August 2026.

The 2257 (Not Friday) Buxton to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at Heaton Chapel and Levenshulme. A bus will be provided from Stockport to Manchester Piccadilly.
The 2323 (Not Friday) Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 2328 (Not Friday) Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted via Romiley and will not call at Stockport. A bus will be provided from Romiley to Stockport.
The 2252 (Not Friday) Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 2313 (Not Friday) Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will be bus replaced throughout.
