On Sunday 20th October, Services on routes in and around the North West and Cumbria may be subject to disruption and very short notice cancellations.
We encourage customers to plan ahead and check journeys before travelling, particularly last trains of the day which may be earlier than usual and may be cancelled at short notice.
If you do travel, please leave yourself plenty of time and do not rely on last services.
Northern tickets may be used at no additional costs with the following train operators
& routes in the event of your train being cancelled, with no alternative
Northern service within 1 hour of the cancellation.

are advised that alternative operators may operate via different stations and
routes to reach the final destination. Please speak to station staff, consult
online journey planners or contact Northern Customer Experience Centre via the
platform help point or by calling 0800 200 6060 for further assistance.
