Planned Route Improvement Works will take place between Colchester and Ipswich via Manningtree, and between Colchester and Harwich Town via Manningtree from 04:00, Saturday 06 September 2025 to 23:59, Sunday 07 September 2025, from 04:00, Saturday 13 September 2025 to 23:59, Sunday 14 September 2025, from 04:00, Saturday 20 September 2025 to 23:59, Sunday 21 September 2025, and from 04:00, Saturday 27 September 2025 to 23:59, Sunday 28 September 2025.
All lines will be blocked.
All services will be replaced by buses throughout.
Customer Advice:
On 6-7th, 13-14th, 20th, 21st, & 27th-28th September:
Buses replace trains between Ipswich & Colchester.
Buses replace trains to/from Harwich & Manningtree.
Additional Information:
We cannot convey e-scooters or full-size bicycles.
It's for your safety, and maximises space on buses.
