Please do not travel between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street until further notice.
Network Rail have advised us of a loss of signalling in the Shenfield area, which has been caused by theft of the signalling cables. British Transport Police and Network Rail response teams are in the area and rectification plans are currently being discussed.
We currently have no ETA for when the line will re-open.

Service Impact
Trains will be unable to run between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street. There is a limited and disrupted service between Colchester / Southend Victoria and Shenfield.
Alternative Travel Options
Do not travel between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street until later today.
Ticket restrictions for today have been lifted, and your ticket will be accepted on train services tomorrow (Monday 20 October 2025).
