Between Reading/Wokingham/North Camp and Guildford/Redhill/Gatwick Airport

Planned engineering work will take place between Reading/Wokingham/North Camp and Guildford/Redhill/Gatwick Airport from 20:15, Friday 03 May 2024 to 09:00, Monday 06 May 2024.
Some lines will be blocked.

Additional Information

On Friday 3 May
* The 2020 Reading to Shalford will not run.
* The 2054 Reading to Gatwick Airport will call additionally at Crowthorne 2109, Sandhurst 2112, Farnborough North 2120, Ash 2128 and at Shalford (to set down only) at 2143, and will also run a few minutes later from Blackwater to Reigate
* The 2130 Shalford to Reading will not run. Passengers should travel on an alternative earlier or later service

On Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 May
All weekend, services will be reduced to an hourly frequency and will run between Guildford and Redhill / Gatwick Airport only.
Replacement buses will run between Reading and Guildford as follows:
* (every 2 hours) Non-stop Reading to Guildford
* (every 2 hours) Reading - Wokingham # - Blackwater - North Camp - Guildford
* (Every 2 hours) Reading - Wokingham # - Crowthorne - Sandhurst - Blackwater - Farnborough North - North Camp - Ash - Guildford

# - on Saturday only, passengers travelling between Reading and Wokingham should use scheduled rail services (continuing to/from London Waterloo) operated by SWR

In addition, on Saturday:
* The last bus from Reading to Guildford will also call at Wanborough and will be extended from Guildford to set down only at Dorking Deepdene, Reigate, Redhill and Gawick Airport
* Buses at 0518 & 2322 from Guildford to Reading will also call at Wanborough

In addition, on Sunday:
* The last bus from Reading to Guildford will also call at Wanborough and will be extended from Guildford to set down only at all stations to Reigate, Redhill and Gawick Airport
* The 0736 & 1955 from Guildford will terminate at Redhill and two trains to Guildford will start from Redhill (instead of Gatwick Airport) at 0929 & 2128

On Monday 6 May
* The 0627 Reading to Gatwick Airport will depart EARLIER at 0617 and call at all stations (except Wanborough), then will terminate at Redhill $
* The 0651 Reading to Redhill will not run
* The 0720 Reading to Gatwick Airport will call additionally at Chilworth 0817 and Dorking West 0830
* The 0759 Gatwick Airport to Reading will start from Redhill at 0812 $

$ - Passengers travelling to/from Gatwick Airport should use alternative Thameslink services between Redhill and Gatwick Airport, on which GWR tickets will be accepted
