Planned engineering work will take place between London Paddington/Slough/Maidenhead and Reading/Didcot Parkway/Oxford from 07:30, Sunday 28 April 2024 to 05:00, Monday 29 April 2024.
Some lines will be blocked.

Additional Information

All day, most High Speed trains to and from London Paddington will be retimed. Many trains will depart EARLIER than usual.

Most fast trains between London Paddington and Oxford will not call at Slough. Slough will be served by additional calls in other services (see below).

Trains between London Paddington and Swindon / Bristol Parkway / Cardiff Central will call additionally at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford.

All day, most local stopping trains from London Paddington to Reading and Didcot Parkway will only run between Reading and Didcot Parkway. Passengers at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford should use services running between London Paddington and Swindon / Bristol Parkway / Cardiff Central (see above).

The following late evening trains running via Exeter St Davids will be retimed as follows:

* 2003 & 2104 London Paddington to Plymouth will run approximately 10-11 minutes later from Exeter St Davids onwards
* 2200, 2305 & 2348 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids will all arrive Exeter St Davids up to 11 minutes later than usual
* 2345 London Paddington to Penzance will arrive Exeter St Davids 9 minutes later than usual
* 2145 Penzance to London Paddington will arrive and depart Taunton approximately 15 minutes later than usual

On Monday 29 April to Thursday 2 May:
The 2249 London Paddington to Swansea will be diverted after Swindon to call additionally at Chippenham 0013 and at Bath Spa to set down only at 0023, then will run approximately 25 minutes later from Bristol Parkway to Swansea.

The 2314 London Paddington to Oxford will call additionally at Didcot Parkway 0024 and arrive 7 minutes later at Oxford at 0041.

The 2332 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads will be diverted after Reading to run non-stop to Bath Spa, not calling at Didcot Parkway, Swindon or Chippenham. Passengers for these stations should travel on the 2314 from London Paddington to Oxford (calling additionally at Didcot Parkway). A replacement bus will from Didcot Parkway at 0020 to Swindon 0110 and Chippenham 0150.
(Passengers travelling FROM Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham TO Bath Spa or Bristol Temple Meads will need to travel EARLIER on the 2228 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads, which will run normally).
