Planned engineering work will take place between Liverpool Lime Street and Broad Green on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 23:30, Monday 10 August 2026 to 05:20, Friday 14 August 2026.
Some lines will be blocked.
Some services will be revised.
Monday 10th to Friday 14th of August.
The 2217 (Not Friday) Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will not call at stations between St Helens Central and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided from St Helens Central to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 2243 (Not Friday) Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 2330 (Not Friday) Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will depart at 2320 and run EARLIER than normally advertised to Broad Green. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria, departing Liverpool Lime Street at 2330 and stopping to set down only from Broad Green.

Engineering staff have attended and removed the affected train.
