Improvement Work

Between Edge Hill and Liverpool Lime Street

Planned engineering work will take place between Edge Hill and Liverpool Lime Street from 23:30, Monday 09 June 2025 to 05:10, Friday 13 June 2025.
Some services will be revised. Monday 9th - Thursday 12th June:
The 2243 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 2300 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport.
The 2315 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 2330 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout.
Customer Advice:
Normal journey times are extended by approximately 45 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
