Between Blackburn and Colne

Planned engineering work will take place between Blackburn and Colne from 00:10, Monday 18 May 2026 to 05:30, Friday 22 May 2026.
Some services will be revised. MONDAY TO THURSDAY
The 2342 Clitheroe to Blackburn service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 2251 Preston to Colne service will terminate at Blackburn. A bus will be provided between Blackburn and Colne.
TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
The 0552 Colne to Preston service will start from Burnley Central. A bus will be provided from Colne to Burnley Central, departing Colne at 0530 to connect with the train at Rose Grove.

Planned engineering work will take place between Salford Crescent and Ince, and between Ince and Southport/Wigan Wallgate from 23:20, Monday 18 May 2026 to 05:40, Friday 22 May 2026.
Some services will be revised. MONDAY TO THURSDAY
The 2220 Blackburn to Wigan Wallgate service will terminate at Manchester Victoria. A bus will be provided from Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate.
The 2249 Wigan Wallgate to Rochdale service will start from Manchester Victoria.
A bus will be provided from Wigan Wallgate to Manchester Victoria.
The 2320 Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate service will depart at 2303 and will not call at intermediate stations. A bus will be provided from Manchester Victoria to Wigan Wallgate calling at stations normally served by the train.
