On Sunday 18th May 2025 customers are advised to Check Before You Travel due to train crew availability. Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and check journeys before travelling for the latest information and train times. 

Some routes will have no train services and will have limited road transport operating on the route, customers are therefore encouraged where possible to travel on alternative train companies services (if available) as road transport capacity is extremely limited.

To assist customers in completing their journey, Northern tickets will be accepted on the following train companies at no additional cost providing your original train has been cancelled with no alternative Northern service within 60 minutes of the cancellation.
