Services between Sheffield and Huddersfield, in both directions are currently being disrupted due to a points failure.
Network Rail engineers are on site.
Effect on service:
Sheffield to Huddersfield services will be suspended in both directions.
Alternate Travel Suggestions
Customers can travel to Leeds or Wakefield Kirkgate and change for services to and from Huddersfield.
Ticket acceptance is in operation with Transpennine Express between Leeds, Wakefield kirkgate and Huddersfield.
Road Transport details.
To assist customers to complete their journey, road transport has been provided between Huddersfield and Barnsley in both directions.
2 x 16 seat vehicles will depart Barnsley at ten past the hour (XX:10) calling all stations to Huddersfield.
2 x 16 seat vehicles will depart Huddersfield at quarter past the hour (XX:15) calling all stations to Barnsley
Road transport will be provided by Premier Travel, Elite Travel, RSZ Travel and Mayfair Minibuses
Journey times will be extended by 1 hour whilst travelling by road transport.
