Some lines will be blocked.

Monday 5th to Friday 9th of May
The 2328 (Not Friday) Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at Stockport. A bus will be provided from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at Stockport.
The 2246 (Not Friday) Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 2312 (Not Friday) Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at Handforth, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, Heaton Chapel and Levenshulme. A bus will be provided from Wilmslow to Manchester Piccadilly to serve these stations.
The 2316 (Not Friday) Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield service will be bus replaced throughout.

Due to the earlier points failure around the Buxton area, services are being disrupted between Hazel Grove/Furness Vale and Buxton in both directions.
Network Rail staff are on site and engineers are trying to rectify the issue and have advised that trains will be able to call at all stations between Hazel Grove/Furness Vale and Buxton from 20:30 however disruption to services is expected until the end of the day.
Effect on service:
Services will be affected as follows -
Manchester Piccadilly - Buxton - Services will terminate at Furness Vale
Buxton - Manchester Piccadilly - Services will start at Furness Vale
Alternative travel suggestions:
Manchester Piccadilly - Hazel Grove services in both directions are not affected by this disruption.
Road Transport:
To assist customers to complete their journey, road transport has been provided between Hazel Grove and Buxton in both direction as follows -
Hazel Grove to Buxton calling at Middlewood, Disley, New Mills Newtown, Furness Vale, Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Dove Holes and Buxton
