Improvement Work

Between Liverpool Lime Street and Broad Green

Planned engineering work will take place between Liverpool Lime Street and Broad Green from 23:30, Monday 18 May 2026 to 05:20, Friday 22 May 2026.
Some services will be revised. MONDAY TO THURSDAY
The 2217 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will not call at stations between St Helens Central and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided from St Helens Central to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 2243 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 2330 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will depart at 2320 and run EARIER than normally advertised to Broad Green. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria, departing Liverpool Lime Street at 2330 and stopping to set down only from Broad Green.
