Between Edge Hill and Liverpool Lime Street, Between Manchester Victoria and Patricroft, Between Edge Hill and Rainhill/Wigan North Western, Between Manchester Victoria and Smithy Bridge

Planned engineering work will take place between Edge Hill and Liverpool Lime Street, between Manchester Victoria and Patricroft, between Edge Hill and Rainhill/Wigan North Western, and between Manchester Victoria and Smithy Bridge from 23:25, Monday 28 April 2025 to 05:15, Friday 02 May 2025.
Some services will be revised.
Monday 28th to Thursday 1st May
The 23:00 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport.
The 23:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 23:20 Blackburn to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout.
Tuesday 29th to Friday 2nd May
The 05:30 Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street service will start from Wigan North Western, and will run as normally advertised from Newton-le-Willows. Customers should use the next available service.
The 05:35 Wigan North Western to Liverpool Lime Street service will not run. Customers should use the next available service.
The 22:43 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.

Normal journey times are extended by approximately 60 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
