Between Newcastle/Chathill and Morpeth

Planned engineering work will take place between Newcastle/Chathill and Morpeth from 23:40, Friday 19 September 2025 to 05:20, Monday 22 September 2025.
All lines will be blocked.
All services will be replaced by buses throughout.
Newcastle Morpeth/Chathill in both directions:Trains will not run.
Buses will be provided between Newcastle and Morpeth/Chathill In both directions.
NOTE services between Newcastle and Ashington in both directions are unaffected by this work and will run as normally advertised.
Customer Advice:
Normal journey times are extended by approximately 45 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
