Planned engineering work will take place between Manchester Victoria and Smithy Bridge, and between Manchester Piccadilly and Mauldeth Road/Levenshulme from 00:05, Monday 13 October 2025 to 05:40, Friday 17 October 2025.
Some services will be revised. Monday to Thursday
The 23:20 Blackburn to Manchester Victoria (via Todmorden) service will be bus replaced throughout.
Wednesday Only
The 23:22 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport.

Planned engineering work will take place between Edge Hill and Liverpool Lime Street, between Manchester Victoria and Patricroft, between Edge Hill and Rainhill/Wigan North Western, and between Manchester Victoria and Salford Crescent/Eccles from 23:30, Monday 13 October 2025 to 05:30, Friday 17 October 2025.
Some services will be revised. Monday to Thursday
The 22:43 Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 23:00 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport service will start from Manchester Oxford Road. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport.
The 23:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 23:30 Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will be bus replaced throughout.
Tuesday to Friday
The 05:30 Manchester Victoria to Liverpool Lime Street service will not run. Customers are advised to use the 0532 Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street service (dep Manchester Piccadilly 0554 and Manchester Oxford Road 0557).
