Between Lostock Hall and Rishton

Planned engineering work will take place between Lostock Hall and Rishton from 00:55, Saturday 01 November 2025 to 05:35, Monday 03 November 2025.
All lines will be blocked.
All services will be revised. Northern Trains services only.
Engineering work will be taking place between Lostock Hall and Rishton from 00:55 Saturday until 05:35 Monday.
Blackpool North Leeds (in both directions): Trains will not run.
Buses will be provided between Preston and Hebden Bridge (in both directions). Train services are available between Hebden Bridge and Leeds (in both directions).
Blackburn Manchester Victoria via Todmorden: Trains will run to an amended timetable between Accrington and Manchester Victoria.
Manchester Victoria Blackburn via Todmorden: Trains will run to an amended timetable between Manchester Victoria and Accrington.
Buses will be provided between Accrington and Blackburn (in both directions).
Customer Advice:
Normal journey times are extended by approximately 45 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.

All services will be terminating at Preston and restarting from Preston and replaced by buses between Preston and Colne.
Blackpool South Colne: Trains will terminate at Preston.
Colne Blackpool South: Trains will start from Preston.
Buses will be provided between Preston and Colne (in both directions).
