Your ticket can be used on the following alternative routes to help you complete your journey, with the Train Operating Companies listed below at no extra cost:

CrossCountry between Cardiff Central/Bristol Parkway and Manchester Piccadilly via Birmingham New Street in both directions.
West Midlands Railway between Hereford and Birmingham New Street in both directions.
Great Western railway between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway in both directions.
Northern between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions.
Avanti West Coast between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly in both directions.

These arrangements are in place on services until the end of the day.

Customers can also use local bus services to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost:

Route X24 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Newport and Pontypool via Cwmbran.
Route 21 and X3 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Pontypool and Cwmbran.
Route 23 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Cwmbran and Hereford via Abergavenny.
Route X5 provided by Stagecoach South Wales between Cardiff and Cwmbran.
