Northern services between Preston and Windermere are not affected.

What should I do?
You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

You can also travel on Blackpool Transport bus services at no extra cost between Blackpool South and Lytham.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Services between Sowerby Bridge and Mytholmroyd are being disrupted due to a fault on a train.
Network Rail are aware of the problem and are sending staff to the location of the train.

How does this affect my journey?
Train services are unable to run between Sowerby Bridge and Mytholmroyd in this direction only.

Services on the following routes will be affected by this disruption:
York - Blackpool North.
Leeds - Manchester Victoria/Chester.
Leeds - Wigan Wallgate.
Hull - Halifax.

What should I do?
You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

You can travel on the following train operators and routes at no extra cost:
Transpennine Express services between Leeds and Manchester via Huddersfield.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Replacement transport:
Road transport has been confirmed to run as follows:
At 18:30 from Bradford Interchange calling at all stations to Todmorden.
At 18:30 from Brighouse calling at all stations to Todmorden.

Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.

Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
