Blackpool North - Manchester Airport services.
Liverpool Lime Street - Manchester Airport services.

The following services will be cancelled or diverted via Stockport. Mauldeth Road, Burnage, East Didsbury, Gatley, Heald Green, Manchester Airport and Styal will not be served:

Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe via Manchester Airport services.

Alternative travel suggestions:
Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe via Stockport are not affected by this disruption.

Northern tickets may be used at no additional costs on board the following services until this disruption end:
Manchester Metrolink services between Manchester Airport/East Didsbury and Manchester Piccadilly.
TFGM bus service numbers 43, 103, 313 between Manchester Airport and Manchester City Centre.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Road replacement transport has been recruited and will operate as follows:

Due to forecasted severe weather fewer trains are able to run on some lines. Disruption is expected until 02:00 16/11.

Train services between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

Customer Advice

Heavy rain and winds are expected on Friday 14th November and Saturday 15th November. A number of yellow weather warnings for wind are in place.

Flooding is expected in places, and strong winds may bring down trees onto the railway.
