Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Services between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport in both directions are currently being disrupted due to a tree blocking the railway.
Network Rail engineers remain on site.

Train services are currently unable to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport in both directions.

Effect on service:
Train services are currently unable to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport in both directions.

The following services will terminate and start back from Manchester Oxford Road or Manchester Piccadilly where possible. Mauldeth Road, Burnage, East Didsbury, Gatley, Heald Green and Manchester Airport will not be served:

Barrow-In-Furness/Windermere - Manchester Airport services.
Blackpool North - Manchester Airport services.
Liverpool Lime Street - Manchester Airport services.

The following services will be cancelled or diverted via Stockport. Mauldeth Road, Burnage, East Didsbury, Gatley, Heald Green, Manchester Airport and Styal will not be served:

Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe via Manchester Airport services.

Alternative travel suggestions:
Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe via Stockport are not affected by this disruption.

Northern tickets may be used at no additional costs on board the following services until this disruption end:
Manchester Metrolink services between Manchester Airport/East Didsbury and Manchester Piccadilly.
TFGM bus service numbers 43, 103, 313 between Manchester Airport and Manchester City Centre.

Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
