Following an obstruction on the line earlier between Abergavenny and Hereford Northbound lines have now reopened.
Impact:
Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be delayed at short notice. Normal services will be provided as soon as possible.

expand Temporary change to Cardiff Queen Street Station Ticket Office from 19 May 2013 until further notice

The ticket office will be temporarily relocated to the outside of the station building from 19 May 2013 until further notice. New ticket vending machines will also be available from 19 May. Please remember, to travel on a train you must buy a ticket at the first available opportunity.

expand Temporary change to Cardiff Queen Street Station Waiting Room & Cafe between Monday 17 and Friday 28 June
In line with the improvement works at Cardiff Queen Street station, the waiting room on Platform 1 and 2 will be improved between Monday 17 and Friday 28 June. The waiting room and cafe will be closed while work takes place.

expand Temporary change to the long stay car park on Godfrey Road / Newport station from 25 May until 26 May 2013

The long stay car park on Godfrey Road will be partially closed to enable rail replacement buses to operate from 12pm on Saturday 25 May until 4pm on Sunday 26 May.There will be less car parking spaces in Godfrey Road car park han usual, including disabled spaces.
If necessary, alternative parking is available on the other side of the station in Queensway. If you are driving to the station. please allow more time for your journey in case you need to use Queensway car park.

expand Temporary changes to Caerphilly Station Car Park until 31 July 2013

As part of the £220 million Network Rail delivered scheme to improve the railway infrastructure in the Caerphilly area, there will be a requirement to temporarily reduce the capacity of the railway station car park facilities by 21 spaces.  Disabled persons parking spaces will be unaffected by the works taking place. 

The changes will take place on the night of 27/04/2013 into 28/04/2013 and are expected to last until 31/07/2013.

Arriva Trains Wales would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of these works taking place.

expand Liverpool Lime Street refurbishment 21 April until 21 August 2013

Lime Street lower level will be closed to passengers from Sunday 21 April until Wednesday 21 August 2013 inclusive whilst it undergoes its own transformation. 

During this time, to access both Wirral and Northern lines please use Liverpool Central or take the shuttle bus from outside St. Georgeâ??s Hall (on Lime Street) to Moorfields station, adding approximately 7 minutes to your journey.

This does not affect Lime Street main line station.

expand Changes to train services between Cardiff, Newport and Ebbw Vale Parkway on Sunday 26th May 2013

Arriva Trains Wales is advising passengers that there will be changes to services on Sunday 26th May due to Network Rail major improvement works taking place between Cardiff and Newport. This program of works will improve the track allowing Arriva Trains Wales to further enhance services. 

A number of changes to trains will take place as follows and alternative transport will be provided.

1.     No trains will be running between Cardiff Central and Newport

2.     Replacement bus services will be in operation between Cardiff Central and Newport

3.     Trains between Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale Parkway will run between Newport and Ebbw Vale Parkway. Buses will run between Cardiff Central and Rogerstone
