Planned engineering work will take place between Liverpool Lime Street/Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly, and between Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 23:30, Monday 06 April 2026 to 05:20, Friday 10 April 2026.
All lines will be blocked.
Some services will be revised. The 22:17 (not Friday) Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will not call at stations between St Helens Central and Liverpool Lime Street. A bus will be provided from St Helens Central to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 22:43 (not Friday) Wilmslow to Liverpool Lime Street service will terminate at Manchester Piccadilly. A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Liverpool Lime Street.
The 23:30 (not Friday) Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria service will depart at 23:20 and run EARIER than normally advertised to Broad Green. A bus will be provided from Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Victoria, departing Liverpool Lime Street at 23:30 and stopping to set down only from Broad Green.
