Planned engineering work will take place between Horwich Parkway and Preston from 23:25, Monday 20 April 2026 to 05:30, Friday 24 April 2026.
Some lines will be blocked.
Some services will be revised.

The following services will be diverted via (but not call at) Wigan North Western, and will not call at stations via Bolton and Horwich Parkway:
04:48 (Not Monday) Manchester Airport to Blackpool North - Customers should please use the next available service
22:48 (Not Friday) Manchester Airport to Blackpool North - A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadilly to Preston via Bolton
23:17 (Not Friday) Manchester Airport to Blackpool North - A bus will be provided from Manchester Oxford Road to Preston
23:22 (Not Friday) Blackpool North to Manchester Airport - A bus will be provided from Preston to Manchester Airport
23:46 (Not Friday) Manchester Airport to Blackpool North - A bus will be provided from Manchester Piccadily to Preston
