expand Engineering Work: Between Meadowhall and Barnsley
Planned engineering work will take place between Meadowhall and Barnsley on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 00:10, Monday 23 June 2025 to 05:40, Friday 27 June 2025.
All lines are blocked.
Some services will be replaced by buses between Barnsley and Sheffield. The 0518 (Tuesday to Friday) Sheffield to Barnsley service will not run.
The 0526 (Tuesday to Friday) Barnsley to Sheffield service will not run.
The 0528 (Tuesday to Friday) Sheffield to Leeds service will depart Sheffield at 0535 and will not call at Chapeltown, Elsecar and Wombwell.
The 0551 (Tuesday to Friday) Barnsley to Sheffield service will not run.
The 2301 (Monday to Thursday) Leeds to Sheffield service will not call at Wombwell, Elsecar, Chapeltown and Meadowhall.
Buses will be provide between Barnsley and Meadowhall/Sheffield (in both directions).
Customer Advice:
Normal journey times are extended by approximately 45 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
