Engineering Work: Between Newcastle and Hartlepool

Planned engineering work will take place between Newcastle and Hartlepool from 00:20, Sunday 11 May 2025 to 11:15, Sunday 11 May 2025.
All services will be replaced by buses between Newcastle and Hartlepool. Carlisle/Newcastle Middlesbrough (and beyond): Trains will run between Carlisle and Newcastle, and between Hartlepool and Middlesbrough (and beyond).
Middlesbrough (and beyond) Newcastle/Carlisle: Trains will run between Middlesbrough (and beyond) and Hartlepool, and between Newcastle and Carlisle.
Buses will be provided between Newcastle and Hartlepool in both directions.
Customer Advice:
Normal journey times are extended by approximately 40 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
