Engineering Work: Between Blackburn and Colne

Planned engineering work will take place between Blackburn and Colne from 00:10, Monday 18 May 2026 to 05:30, Friday 22 May 2026.
Some services will be revised. MONDAY TO THURSDAY
The 2342 Clitheroe to Blackburn service will be bus replaced throughout.
The 2238 Preston to Colne service will terminate at Blackburn. A bus will be provided between Blackburn and Colne.
TUESDAY TO FRIDAY
The 0552 Colne to Preston service will start from Burnley Central. A bus will be provided from Colne to Burnley Central, departing Colne at 0530 to connect with the train at Rose Grove.

Normal journey times are extended, please allow extra time for your journey.
