Improvement Works reported
Planned engineering work will take place between New Mills Central and Stockport, and between Hazel Grove and Buxton on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 23:15, Monday 29 September 2025 to 05:25, Friday 03 October 2025.
All lines will be blocked.
All services will be revised.
Monday - Thursday:
The 2259 Buxton to Manchester Piccadilly service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
The 2310 Manchester Piccadilly to Buxton service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
The 2323 Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove service will terminate at Stockport. A bus will be provided from Stockport to Hazel Grove.
The 2328 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will not call at Stockport. A bus will be provided from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at Stockport.
Customer Advice:
Normal journey times are extended by approximately 30 minutes. Please allow extra time for your journey.
