Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..
* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if you can continue your journey by rail.
Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* Currently, we have not arranged for your rail tickets to be accepted on local bus routes as yet. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* 1xShiels coaches ETA Mallaig at 17:40 to Fort William
* 1xShiels coaches ETA Mallaig at 18:00 to Fort William
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

* We have had reports of a train derailment at between Mallaig and Fort William.
* Unfortunately will be unable to run through these stations until we can get the train back onto the tracks.

It has been previously delayed and is now 126 minutes late from Rannoch.
This is due to a low speed derailment.

18:21 Glasgow Queen Street to Oban due 21:24 has been delayed at Crianlarich and is now 28 minutes late.
This is due to a low speed derailment.

19:55 Helensburgh Central to Edinburgh due 22:07 has been reinstated.
It will be started from Airdrie.
It will no longer call at Helensburgh Central, Craigendoran, Cardross, Dalreoch, Dumbarton Central, Dumbarton East, Dalmuir, Singer, Drumry, Drumchapel, Westerton, Anniesland, Hyndland, Partick, Charing Cross, Glasgow Queen Street Ll, High Street, Bellgrove, Carntyne, Shettleston, Garrowhill, Easterhouse, Blairhill, Coatbridge Sunnyside and Coatdyke.
This is due to a late running train being in front of this one.

20:20 Crianlarich to Mallaig due 23:39 will be terminated at Fort William.
It will no longer call at Banavie, Corpach, Loch Eil Outward Bound, Locheilside, Glenfinnan, Lochailort, Beasdale, Arisaig, Morar and Mallaig.
It is being delayed at Crianlarich.
This is due to a low speed derailment.

The lifts will be out of order from now until further notice at Bathgate station.

The lift on platform 2 at Bathgate is currently out of order.
