Train services between Edinburgh and Aberdeen are returning to normal but some services have been cancelled, delayed or revised.
Customer Advice:
Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..
* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if you can continue your journey by rail.
Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* Your train ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following local bus routes:
Stagecoach services between Kirkcaldy and Dundee
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* We have requested replacement transport but we have been advised there is currently no availability. We would advise customers to make their own arrangements where possible at this time.
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

* The emergency services have declared it safe to run our trains between Dundee and Markinch.
* Disruption to services may still be ongoing until our staff and trains are back in position.

17:38 Edinburgh to Perth due 19:06 has been previously delayed, has been further delayed at Ladybank and is now 15 minutes late.

18:03 Larkhall to Dalmuir due 19:12 has been delayed at Larkhall and is now 8 minutes late.
This is due to a late running train being in front of this one.

18:07 Balloch to Airdrie due 19:23 will be started from Dumbarton Central.
