Impact:
Train services between Glasgow Central and Ayr will be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or reduced to an hourly service.

* We have confirmed replacement transport at Paisley and Kilwinning for Thursday 04th from 06:00.
* We have requested a replacement bus at Kilwinning to run direct to Ardrossan Harbour to connect with CalMac Ferries.

* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

* Network Rail have advised that they are dealing with a signalling fault between Paisley Gilmour St and Kilwinning stations which is affecting our services.
* Staff are still onsite and have confirmed the fault is between Howwood and Lochwinnoch, they will be investigating the fault further after all trains have stopped for the evening.
* An emergency timetable has been drawn up for the start of service on the 04/12 incase we don't get the line reopened, please check back later for more information

23:30 Glasgow Central to Ayr due 00:25 will now run as scheduled.

The escalators will be out of order from now until 12:00 on 12/12/2025 at Glasgow Central station.

* Down escalator from low level booking office (street level) to low level gateline (Platform 16 and 17) is out of order.
* Lift still available to and from P16/17 and street level.
