Impact:
Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services will still be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 17:30 19/03.
Customer Advice:
Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..
* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if you can continue your journey by rail.
Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* Currently, we have not arranged for your rail tickets to be accepted on local bus routes as yet. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* Currently, we have not requested Rail Replacement Transport. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.
Additional Information:
* We had reports of a signalling fault in the Haughhead area which was affecting our trains between Hamilton Central and Motherwell and also our trains to/from Larkhall.
* Staff on site inform that normal working has been restored to allow us to run the above trains as booked again.

15:03 Larkhall to Dalmuir due 16:12 will be terminated at Hamilton Central.
It will no longer call at Hamilton West, Blantyre, Newton Lanark, Cambuslang, Rutherglen, Dalmarnock, Bridgeton, Argyle Street, Glasgow Central Low Level, Anderston, Exhibition Centre, Partick, Hyndland, Jordanhill, Scotstounhill, Garscadden, Yoker, Clydebank and Dalmuir.
It has been delayed at Chatelherault and is now 39 minutes late.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

15:28 Glasgow Central to Kilmarnock due 16:23 has been previously delayed but is now 5 minutes late from Barrhead.
This is due to a fault on this train.
Will be formed of 2 coaches instead of 4.

15:33 Larkhall to Dalmuir due 16:42 was started from Hamilton Central.
It will no longer call at Larkhall, Merryton and Chatelherault.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

15:35 Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street due 18:24 is being delayed between Aberdeen and Montrose and is now expected to be 9 minutes late.
This is due to the emergency services dealing with an incident.

16:47 Dalmuir to Larkhall due 17:56 will be started from Anderston.
It will no longer call at Dalmuir, Singer, Drumry, Drumchapel, Westerton, Anniesland, Hyndland, Partick and Exhibition Centre.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

An additional train service has been planned to operate as shown 17:33 Glasgow Central to East Kilbride due 18:08.

The lifts will be out of order from now until further notice at Airdrie station.
