Line Update
Due to trespassers on the railway earlier today between Blantyre and Newton Lanark:
Impact:
Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services will still be delayed. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Additional Information:
* We have had reports of a trespasser between Newton and Blantyre earlier.
* We have been advised that officers have attended and the person has now been taken to a place of safety.
* We can now run services as scheduled.
* Disruption to services may still be ongoing until our staff and trains are back in position.
