Train services between Glasgow Central and Gourock are returning to normal but some services have been cancelled, delayed or revised.

Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..
* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if you can continue your journey by rail.
Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
Customers can travel on alternative routes.
* Paisley Canal, Ayr, Largs & Ardrossan Harbour services for Paisley Gilmour Street.
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* Currently, we have not arranged for your rail tickets to be accepted on local bus routes as yet. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* Currently, we have not requested Rail Replacement Transport. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.

This is due to slippery rails.

22:35 Dalmuir to Carstairs due 00:05 has been previously delayed and is now 20 minutes late from Bargeddie.
This is due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train earlier today.

22:48 Dalmuir to Larkhall due 23:57 has been previously delayed, has been further delayed at Newton Lanark and is now 9 minutes late.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

23:03 Dalmuir to Motherwell due 00:08 has been delayed between Partick and Exhibition Centre and is now 10 minutes late.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

23:03 Larkhall to Garscadden due 23:58 has been delayed at Larkhall and is now 12 minutes late.
This is due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train.

23:03 Wemyss Bay to Glasgow Central due 23:54 has been delayed at Wemyss Bay and is now 17 minutes late.
This is due to a passenger being taken ill on this train.

23:09 Milngavie to Motherwell due 00:02 has been delayed between Partick and Exhibition Centre and is now 11 minutes late.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

The lifts will be out of order from now until further notice at Dalmuir station.
