Following a fault with the signalling system earlier today between Milngavie and Bearsden all lines have now reopened. Disruption is expected until 10:15 16/11.
Impact:
Train services between Motherwell and Milngavie are returning to normal but some services have been cancelled, delayed or revised.

Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..

* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* We have arranged for valid tickets/SMARTcards to be accepted on West Coast Motors services between Milngavie and Glasgow at no extra cost. Please show your ticket to the driver on request.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* Currently, we have not requested Rail Replacement Transport. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

Engineers on site at Bearsden have now fixed the fault with the points and we're able to run trains normally again.
Some alterations have been made to allow us to get trains and crews back into position to run trains on time.
