Following a fault with the signalling system between Dalreoch and Renton all lines are now open. Disruption is expected until 22:30 23/05.
Impact:
Train services between Balloch and Airdrie will be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..
* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if you can continue your journey by rail.
Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
Customers can travel on alternative routes.
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* Currently, we have not arranged for your rail tickets to be accepted on local bus routes as yet. We will monitor this situation as the incident develops.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* We have managed to source a replacement coaches which will run as follows:
2x full size bus Dumbarton Central to run a shuttle to Balloch - ARays Travel eta 2000
2x full size bus Balloch to run a shuttle to Dumbarton Central - ARays Travel eta 2030 & 2045
Due to the use of road transport your journey time will be extended and we apologise for the disruption to you journey on this route, if you are delayed over 30 minutes you can make a claim by visiting ScotRail.co.uk/delay-repay .
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

* Our response team have managed to repair signalling fault.
* We can now run services as scheduled.

This is due to a broken down train.
This train will now be formed of the usual number of coaches.

22:03 Edinburgh to Leven due 23:10 has been cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

23:18 Leven to Edinburgh due 00:32 will be cancelled.
This is due to a fault on this train.

Facilities on the 20:21 Inverness to Glasgow Queen Street due 23:42.
This is due to a train fault.
First class not available.

21:10 Perth to Edinburgh due 22:39 will no longer call at Kinghorn, Burntisland, Aberdour, Dalgety Bay, Inverkeithing, Edinburgh Gateway and South Gyle.
It has been previously delayed, has been further delayed at Ladybank and is now 23 minutes late.
This is due to a late running train being in front of this one.

21:13 Balloch to Springburn due 22:20 will be started from Dumbarton Central.
It will no longer call at Balloch, Alexandria, Renton and Dalreoch.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

21:17 Glasgow Central to Lanark due 22:10 was terminated at Wishaw.
It will no longer call at Carluke and Lanark.
This is due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train.

21:43 Balloch to Springburn due 22:48 will be started from Dumbarton Central.
It will no longer call at Balloch, Alexandria, Renton and Dalreoch.
This is due to a fault with the signalling system.

22:04 Edinburgh to Dunblane due 23:00 is being delayed at Edinburgh.
This is due to a late running train being in front of this one.

22:23 Lanark to Glasgow Central due 23:20 will be started from Shieldmuir.
It will no longer call at Lanark, Carluke and Wishaw.
This is due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train.

The lifts will be out of order from now until further notice at Anniesland station.
