Following a safety inspection of the track between Inverness and Inverness Airport the line has now reopened. Disruption is expected until 18:00 05/12.
Impact:
Train services between Aberdeen and Inverness will be delayed.

Option 1 - Check if a rail journey is currently possible..
* Use the National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to check if a journey by rail is currently possible.
Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* Currently, we have arranged for your rail tickets to be accepted on Stagecoach North buses between Inverness and Aberdeen (covering Inverness Airport too). Just show the bus driver your ticket when boarding the bus.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* Currently, we have one small bus at Inverness at 1545 to operate between Inverness and Inverness Airport stations, we continue to try to source more buses therefore please check back for further updates.
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.
