Option 2 - Alternative Routes & Local Public Transport..
* If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
* We have arranged for your rail tickets to be accepted on Edinburgh Trams between Edinburgh Waverely and Edinburgh Park.
Option 3 - Rail Replacement Transport..
* Due to no replacement transport being secured, passengers are advised to consider making their own alternative arrangements.
Option 4 - Consider travelling later..
* You might wish to consider postponing your journey until our service's return to normal.

* Due to a fire beside the track in the Bathgate area, the line is closed.
* The fire service has been able to safely put the fire out, but there has been some damage to the railway equipment that allows for safe running of trains.
* Repairs are currently being carried out by engingeers on site with the expectation for the repairs to be complete by the start of service today (Sunday 19th May).
* Due to no replacement transport being secured, passengers are advised to consider making their own alternative arrangements.
